'Insigma'/'Evolution'/'Open Our Eyes'
Steve Helstrip & Andy Perring's Insigma outfit certainly had innocent
begginings. When Steve sent Andy a 3 minute short of a track
he'd been working on Andy rejigged it into a fully functioning 12" mix.
Discovered 9 months later on a CDR, Tim Stark coaxed and cajoulled
the pair into signing it and Insigma's self titled debut was born. They
followed that quickly with the clubbing anthem that is 'Open Our Eyes'.
Released
on ATCR it then moved on to Virgin where it's geniune power was discovered.
Forced into the grasp of Oakenfold and Tiesto, it was the only track to make
both their compilations in 2002 ('Ibiza Travelling'/'Revolution')
respectivley. Now back on ATCR release schedule, it is forthcoming with the
original club mix and new Chiller Twist
remix.
